Descriptions

Wooden clappers exist in various types, distinguished by the wooden material, size and form.

For example, in the japanese Kabuki theatres as well at Sumo tournaments, light wooden clappers with square profile ar used. They are used there for the entry of the Kabuki actors or Sumo fighters.[3]
